Consumer Packs – details
This is a cardboard box. The tea is packe d in Alufoil bags, sealed and then inserted in to this type of box. The box is then wrapped in polythene to conserve freshness of the tea. They can be in two sizes. Generally 100gr and 200gr sizes for small flowery grades and less for bigger leafy varieties.
This miniature version of the big paper sack in which most export teas are packed now is a novel idea which saves on paper and other packing material. The tea is packed in alu foil lined paper bag which is then sealed and wrapped in celophane to preserve freshness of the tea.
